Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona March 27, 1996, p. A2 Laverda Berg, of Wickenburg, died March 22 in Wickenburg. She was 88. Mrs. Berg was born Feb 7, 1908 in Omaha, Neb. She had lived in Arizona for the past 12 years. Mrs. Berg was retired dental assistant who worked in Portland, Ore. prior to moving to Wickenburg in 1984. She liked collecting jewelry and traveling. She and her husband also owned a home on the Columbia River in Oregon. Survivors include her husband, George Berg, of Wickenburg; sister-in-law Dorothy Bourman of Duluth, Minn.; and nephew Richard Bourman of Duluth. Private services will be held. Burial will b e in the V.A National Cemetery in Phoenix, with clergy from the Disable American Veterans officiating. All arrangement were handled by Brown’s Wickenburg Funeral Home.
