DARNELL, Arthur J.

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Tuesday, April 1, 2003 Arthur J. Darnell, 80, of Ahwatukee, Arizona, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2003. Mr. Darnell, a retired mechanic; was born in Winfield, Kansas, moving to the valley in 1964. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Faye; sons, Michael (Robyn), Paul (Bok Sun) & Lonnie (Connie) Darnell; a daughter, Teresa (Scott) Drewhurst; sisters, Jeanne (Roy) Brown and Genevieve Meier along with 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 2 at 3:00 PM at Tempe Mortuary, 405 E. Southern Ave., with visitation one hour prior to service. The graveside interment will be at 10:30 am Thursday at the National Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ahwatukee Assembly of God. Courtesy of Pat Wilson.
