Barbara Leflang passed peacefully of natural causes in the early hours of Friday morning, 3/28/03, surrounded by her loving family gathered in Phoenix.
Barbara's legacy lies within the hearts of everyone that was lucky to know her. The wife of James Richard Leflang, a well-known Coronado artist and teacher, Barbara was also known for her creative stitchery & Leflang Studios, (art studio & shop), in the 1970's. In recent years after moving to Phoenix, Barbara was active with literacy volunteer work. Barbara once wrote, "I've been a charmed native all my life...Life has been rich and warm! Lets do it again!"
Barbara is survived by her two sons Toby R. Leflang & James S. Leflang, her daughter-in-laws Diane & Lora Leflang, four grandchildren Scott Leflang, Zane Basler, Trey Mason & Monet Basler and great-grandchild Hailee Mason.
