The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Tuesday, April 1, 2003 Doris J. Worley, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 28, 2003, at the age of 76. Doris, born in Ephrata, Washington, was the youngest of 7 children. She is survived by her brother, Thearn Matthews, of Walla Walla, Washington. Doris met the love of her life Bob, while working at the Ephrata Drug soda fountain. Their marriage initiated a memory-filled 57 year life together. Their children, Rick (Betsy), Jeff (Becky) and Peggy (Bruce) Lichlyter, gave them 12 grandchildren-Nina, Matt, Maureen, Brett, Chene, Stephanie, Kyle, Abby, Molly, Zach, Ashton and Brielle. Four beautiful great-grandchildren, Brekin, Kennedi, Jaxson, and Jaycie, have brought added joy into her life. The center of her life was her family, who loved her immensely because of that. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower, Phoenix, AZ., 85014. Family services will be held Thursday, April 3, at 1:00 P.M. at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary, 6500 E. Bell Rd.
