The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, March 11, 2003 Elvie A. Hagen, 77, of Tempe, Arizona. Born on December 15th 1925 in Algona, Iowa, passed away March 8th 2003 at home. Visitation on Tuesday, March 11th from 6 to 8 p.m., at Carr Tenney Mortuary, 2621 S. Rural Rd., in Tempe. Services will be held Wednesday, March 12th at 10:00 a.m. at Carr Tenney Mortuary. Reception to follow at Grace Community Church 1200 E. Southern Ave., Tempe. Elvie was a retired RN and received her training as a cadet during World War II. She was an active member of Grace Community Church in Tempe. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Hagen, three sons and their wives, Joe and Dee Hutchinson, Tom and Sandy Hutchinson, Jim and Kaye Johnson and daughter-in-law, Rosella Hutchinson, ten grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
