MORDKA, Maurice

Evergreen Mortuary, Tucson, Arizona Maurice Mordka, 68, of Tucson, died November 29, 2009. Born April 7, 1941 in Bronx, NY, to Max and Flora Mordka. Maurice was a former board member at Congregation Anshei Israel, Hillel Foundation, member of B’nai B’rith, Jewish Community Center and B. P. O. E. He is survived by his loving wife, Gail Mordka; daughter, Michelle (William) Rubin of Skokie, IL; son, Sam (Michelle Cohen) Mordka of Chicago, IL; brother, Harvey (Sandra) Mordka of Tucson; four grandchildren, David Aron Rubin, Yonaton Barak Rubin, Sarah Mina Rubin and Rivka Flor Chez Mordka. Services will be held Monday, November 30, 2009, at 12:00 Noon, EVERGREEN MORTUARY. Interment will follow in the Congregation Anshei Israel section of EVERGREEN CEMETERY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jewish Family and Children’s services or to Congregation Anshei Israel in memory of Maurice Mordka.
