PENNINGTON, Betty Ruth

Evergreen Mortuary, Tucson, Arizona PENNINGTON, BETTY RUTH, 94, of Tucson, died November 23, 2009. Betty was born December 23, 1914 in Iuka, MS. She was preceded in death by her husband of 76 years, Robert Pennington, two sons, Robert and Ray Pennington and a grandson, Robert Tucker. Survived by daughters, Ruth (Jim) McCown and Betty (Wayne) Zatarain; four granddaughters, Cathy Lawrence, Linda LaMadrid, Amanda Pennington and Jennifer Pennington; numerous great and great great grandchildren. A private family memorial service is planned. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Odyssey Hospice for the wonderful care given to Betty.
