Helen Edith Mellberg was born in 1921 in Douglas, Arizona. Her father Lynn Hodgson was a forest ranger. When her mother, Nancy Hodgson was ready to give birth, she was carried by a donkey down the rugged trail to where Helen was born just in time. Helen accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior at a very early age. She was the most unimaginably gentle, loving soul that Almighty God ever created. 

Every person that crossed her path was touched by her loving heart. Her loving soul has made an unforgettable impact that few souls have ever made. 

She gave birth and raised three children, Carl, Kirt and Kerry. Helen was the loving grandmother to 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; also survived by a brother, Dale Hodgson. 

Chapel service Sunday, November 29, 2009, 3:00 PM at EVERGREEN MORTUARY & CEMETERY, N. Oracle & W. Miracle Mile.
