The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, April 2, 2003 Osie L. Bennett, 84, of Queen Creek, AZ, died Friday, March 28, 2003 under the care of Chandler Healthcare Center. Osie was born June 14, 1918 in Coal City, West Virginia. Survivors include four children, Robert (Colette) Bennett of Crow, W. Va; Perry (Lena) Bennett of Dolan Springs, AZ; Charlotte (Ray) Boris of Queen Creek and Peggy Bennett of Hopewell, Va.; 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren, one brother, Waymond Underwood of Crow; one sister, Clara Hare of Ghent, W. Va. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, April 5, at 3 p.m. at the Queen Creek First Baptist Church. Burial will be at the Redden Cemetery in Crow, W. VA. Courtesy of Pat Wilson.
