The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, April 2, 2003 R. J. (Robert) Harmes, age 61, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away March 28, 2003. He was born February 18, 1942 in Virginia, Minnesota. His teenage years spent in Davisburg, Michigan. Served 6 years in the U.S. Army. Resident of Arizona for 42 years. Owned and operated "Manufactures Industrial Supply" (M.S.I.), later worked for Industrial Tool and Supply Company and served as a mentor for several young people. He is survived by his wife Kathleen H. Harmes; daughters, Tammy, Angie, Rachel, Sherry, Shelly; 1 grandson R.J. Harmes; sister Sandra Guzman; brother Roland Harmes; 2 nephews & 2 nieces; stepbrother Gary Greenwald. Visitation 6:00 to 8:00 PM (7:00 Rosary) Wednesday, April 2, 2003 at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E. Greenway Rd., Phoenix, Arizona.
