HARRIS, Richard P.

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, April 2, 2003 Richard P. Harris, 95, of Tempe, Arizona passed away on March 31, 2003. He was born October 23, 1907 in Steubenville, Ohio. He attended Bethany College and was an electronics engineer. He served in the army signal Corp. as a captain during World War II. Richard owned and managed Harris Radio and Sound in Steubenville, Ohio for thirty years. Since 1980 he made his home in Arizona. His wife of over fifty years, Beatrice Coles Harris, preceded him in death in 1992. He is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Craft, son-in-law John Craft, and two grandchildren, Lauren and Jennifer. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 3, at 2:00 with visitation from 1:30-2:00 at Community Christian Church, 1701 S. College Avenue, Tempe. Carr Tenney Mourtuary handled the arrangements.
