HUDSON, Sibyl Iwan

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, April 2, 2003 Sibyl Iwan Hudson, age 78, of Glendale, Arizona passed away from this life on March 31, 2003. She was born in Poughkeepsie, Arkansas to Staten and Elisa Hulett. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Paul B. Hudson; three sons, Bryan, Randy and Mark, eight and half grandchildren, Ryan, David, Julie, Jordan, Madeline, Haley, Connor, Patrick and another granddaughter to arrive in August, two sisters, Thelma Hutchinson of Searcy, Arkansas and Oleta Vermeer of Phoenix. Sibyl's legacy will be carried with us all in the form of a true role model for Christian living. She and Paul spend most of their lives in Phoenix, where they attended the Southwest Church of Christ. She loved people and was loved by all. You never left her house hungry or without a kind word. To Sibyl, the glass was always half full and she could make the sun shine on the darkest days. We are thankful that God provided us with such a perfect wife, mother, aunt and friend. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 3, 2003 from 5 to 8pm at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 N. 59th Ave., Glendale. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, April 4, 2003 at Southwest Church of Christ, 8702 W. Indian School Rd. Courtesy of Pat Wilson.
