KALLSTEDT, Anna Elizabeth (Anna-Lisa)

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, April 2, 2003 Anna Elizabeth (Anna-Lisa) Kallstedt, 87, born June 18, 1915, died March 31, 2003 in Phoenix, AZ. Anna was born in Dalarna Sweden and emigrated to the U.S. in 1923. She lived briefly in New York then moved to Worcester, Massachusetts where she graduated from Commerce High School and worked at Norton's abrasives. The family moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1954, where she was an active charter member of the Vasa Lodge and Bethel Lutheran Church. She worked and retired from Diamond's department store at Park Central Mall. She is preceded in death by her husband Gus. She is survived by her loving family, son, Roland (Tina), grandchildren; Kara Valpey and Eric Kallstedt, two great-grandchildren; Jacob Valpey and Kyle Kallstedt and son Jon, all of whom reside in the Valley. Nephew, Skip Johnson and niece Karin Howe reside in Cape Code, Massachusetts. Viewing will be held Thursday, April 3, 2003, 5-8 PM at Hansen Mortuary, 8314 N. 7th St., Phx., AZ.
