The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, April 2, 2003 Nancy Fuhrken Schuster, born on Flag Day, 1936, in Monmouth, Illinois, passed March 29th. She was the wife of John R. (Jack) Schuster; mother of Kathy, Joseph, David and Monica; mother-in-law of Holly and Pat; grandmother of 5 children; and friend and mentor to many wonderful people. She graduated from the University of Illinois, University of New Mexico, and the ASU School of Law. Seventeen years of school teaching was followed by practicing law in the Valley. She managed the family business, Apache Lake Marina & Resort, on the Tonto Nat'l Forest, for the last thirty years. A memorial service (informal) will be held at the Apache Lake Marina at 4pm, Saturday, April 5, 2003. Courtesy of Pat Wilson.
