Rites in Missouri For Mrs. Whitten

Funeral services and burial for Mrs. Mary L. Whitten will be held this week in Alton, Mo. Mrs. Whitten, who had moved with her daughter, Joyce Whitten, to Wickenburg July 17, died in Community Hospital Sunday evening of a heart attack. She was 79 years old. She was a native to Missouri but had been in Corpus Chrisit, Texas, before coming here. 

Mrs. Whitten and her daughter spent eight months in Wickenburg six years ago. They are close friends of Harry Scritchlow.

Surviving, in addition to the local daughter, is one son, H. M. Whitten of Tulsa, Okla.
