The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Sept. 25, 1959 Jeanette Oberan’s Mother Summoned Mrs. Jennie Vly Mautz, mother of Mrs. Jeanette Oberan of Wickenburg, died September 12 in Marysville, Calif., after a brief illness. Funeral services were held in Phoenix September 16 with burial in Greenwood Park Cemetery. Mrs. Mautz was born in Serbia November 25, 1883. She came to the United States at the age of 20 and resided in Ohio until 40 years ago when she moved to Phoenix. For a few years she lived in Sayer’s Station on the Constellation Road. Then she returned to Phoenix where she resided 30 years until 8 years ago when she moved to Marysville to live with a daughter. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Oberan of Wickenburg, Mrs. Albert Sprangler of Marysville and Mrs. Josephine Flood of Phoenix; three sons, Jack Mautz of Corcoran, Calif., and Raymond T. Mautz and Fred Mautz for Phoenix; three brothers and four sisters from out of state; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
