The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Aug. 14, 1959 Wayne Brunson’s Father Summoned Wayne Brunson left by plane Sunday for Portland, Ind., to attend funeral services for his father, Burt Brunson, who died there Saturday evening. The elder Mr. Brunson was 87 years old and had spent his entire life in the Portland community. He was a retired farmer and county office holder. His wife died in 1920. Surviving, in addition to the Wickenburg son, are three other sons, Willard and Merle of Portland and Mike of Los Angeles; one daughter, Mrs. Irene Bell of Portland; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
