Funeral services were held of this week in the A.L. Moore & Sons Mortuary in Phoenix for Mrs. Alma S. Beaty, wife of A.J. Beaty and resident of Wickenburg for the past 10 months, who passed away in community Hospital here December 31. The rites were conducted by the Rev. C. Vaughn Rock of the Phoenix First Southern Baptist Church and burial following in Greenwood Memorial Park, Phoenix.
Mrs. Beaty, who was 75 years of age, was a native of Fort Worth, Tex. and a resident of Arizona for 41 years. She had been a school teach in both Arizona and Texas. She moved to Wickenburg from Prescott where she was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church. She was also a member of Laurel Chapter No. 30 of the Order of Eastern Star in Phoenix.
Surviving are the husband, who is active in the Senior Citizens Club of Wickenburg and editor of that organization’s newsletter. Two sons, Edwin K. of Tucson and Ivan E. of Los Angeles and a sister, Mrs. W. B. Newkirk of Fort Worth survive also eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
