Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona February 4, 1965 Funeral services were held at the Wickenburg Funeral Home Saturday afternoon at 4 o’clock for Gilbert L. Kennedy, a resident of the Wenden area for the past six years. The services were conducted by the Rev. Dan Gerrard, Rector of St. Alban’s Episcopal Church and burial followed in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Mr. Kennedy, a farmer, moved to Wenden six years ago from Arvin, Calif. He passed away January 26 in Good Samaritan Hospital, Phoenix. He was a member of the Masonic and Odd Fellows lodges. The masons conducted graveside rites here. Surviving are his widow Myrtle; a daughter Mrs. Ben Mathews of Salome; four sons, a sister and two brothers, all residing out of state.
