Funeral services were held at 10 o’clock Monday morning in the Wickenburg funeral Home for Mrs. Marie D. Farmer, 100 years old resident of Kirkland, Ariz., and a former resident of Wickenburg. She passed away July 2 in the Prescott Community Hospital. The Rev. D. F. O’Sullivan of St. Anthony’s officiated at the services here and burial followed in the Wickenburg Cemetery.
Mrs. Farmer was born in Purgstall, Austria. She was married to the late John Farmer in 1895 and lived in New York State for many years. Following the death of her husband she moved to Wickenburg in 1943 and three years later to a ranch on the Black Canyon Highway near New River. In 1953 she moved to Kirkland.
Surviving are two daughters Mrs. Ann Scarborough of Kirkland and Mrs. Margaret McDaniel of Yarnell and a grandson Robert Troutman of Tucson.
