BARR, Robert J. (Bob)

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona July 29, 1965 The community mourns the passing of Robert J. (Bob) Barr, a resident of Wickenburg since 1949 and town clerk since January, 1961. He passed away in community Hospital at 2:20 p.m. July 22. He was admitted at 10 p.m. July 20. Although he had been ill health for some time, it was not generally known that his condition was serious and news of his death came as a shock to his many friends. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 24 at the Wickenburg Funeral Home with the Rev. John Williams of the First Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Los Angeles. A native of Liver pool, England, where he was born May 4, 1908. Mr. Barr came to America in 1908, to California a few years.
