RUSIE, Arthur, Sr.


Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona October 26, 1962 One person was fatally injured and six others hospitalized as the result of a two-car accident tow miles west of Salome at 7 p.m. Sunday. Arthur Rusie, Sr. 32 of Palm Springs, Calif., died in Community Hospital at 1:25 a.m. Monday from injuries. Members of his family who were hospitalized here were his wife, Janet, 27, and their children, Arthur Jr., 10, Lee, 7, and Jay, 20 months. The two men in the second car. Both of whom were injured, are Frank Fumase and Leroy Pighee, both of Los Angeles. Fumase was later removed to Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix so that he could have the services of specialists for his facial injuries. Pighee, who was driving west, attempted to pass another west-bound car in a no passing zone and crashed head-on into the Russie car, reports Sgt. W. O. Dollar of the Highway Patrol.
