GRANT, Shelley

Shelley Grant of Mesa and formerly of Chandler, died Saturday, May 24, 2003, after a long illness in Mesa. She was 60 years old. Born in Lusk, Wyoming, Shelley was a graduate of the University of Arizona and earned a Master's Degree in Education at Arizona State University. She taught American and World Literature at Chandler High School for 25 years, retiring in 1995. She also taught English at Rio Salado Community College. Survivors include her son, Arne Grant of Gilbert; her mother, Elva Brady; two brothers, Larry Brady and Gary Brady; and a sister, Nellie Parker. A memorial service in Shelley's honor is scheduled for 3 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2003, at Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Drive, Chandler. Published on 5/28/2003 East Valley Tribune Mesa AZ
