VINCENT, Milo J.


Milo J. Vincent was born August 15, 1909 near Whitewater, Colorado and passed away on June 22, 2002 in Phoenix, AZ. He was one of ten children born to Ira & Mabel Vincent. Milo was known to most of us as Buster, earning the name as a child by breaking horses on the family cattle ranch in western Colorado. He lived there until 1942, then joined the Army during WWII serving in Italy & Alaska until 1945. In 1950 he & his wife, Frances, moved to Phoenix. Buster worked as a meat cutter at the Ranch Market on east Van Buren & Food City in south Phoenix. He is survived by his 3 children, grandchildren, 3 sisters & 1 brother, nieces, & nephews. Memorial service at Paradise Chapel Funeral Home, 3934 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix, July 6, 2002. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the AZ Dept. of Veterans Services for the Giving Tree Milo Vincent Memorial Fund (Attention D. Raether), 4141 N. 3rd St., Phoenix, AZ 85012.
