WATKINS, Marilyn

Marilyn Heid Watkins died Wed., June 26, 2002 with her family at her side. Born February 11, 1930 in St. Louis, Missouri, where she lived until 1950. She married Arch Watkins and moved to Belleville, IL., eventually settling in Arizona in 1960. She was loved and will be missed by her four children, Kristie Berger, Cyndie O'Brien, Scott Watkins and Laura Leigh Crowe. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren, Brett, Brian, Amber, Michelle, Marc & Grant. She worked as a real estate agent for 10 years and also worked in the Southwest Section PGA office until retiring two years ago. She enjoyed volunteering at Scottsdale Healthcare North as well as traveling, playing cards and spending time with her friends and family. She found her greatest joy in her family in whom she took great pride. Memorial Service Monday, July 1, 2002 at The Chapel at Scottsdale Bible Church 7901 E. Shea Blvd. Scottsdale, AZ. In lieu of flowers, Marilyn requested donations be made to the National Council for Alcoholism 4201 N. l6 St., Suite 140 Phoenix, AZ 85016.
