Vera E. Renner, 54, of Columbus, Indiana, died Thurs., Dec. 5, 2002, at 3:24am at Columbus Regional Hospital. Born in Jasper, AL March 28, 1948 to Willis and Billie Ruth LeFan Downs.  They are deceased. 

Funeral Sunday at Barkes, Inlow & Weaver Funeral Home on Washington St. Calling and service Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials to the Bartholomew County Humane Society. Cremation will follow the service. 

Surviving is her son Chris J. Renner of Phx.; daughter Andria B. Renner of Columbus, brother Cecil Downs of Columbus, companion Joe E. Findley; Stepdaughters Kimberly Reynolds of IN, Rachael Foster of Greenwood, Jennifer Findley of IN, 6 step-grandchildren, preceded in death by her brother Jerry Downs.
