THOMPSON, J. Vernon

J. Vernon Thompson, 85, of Phoenix, Arizona died December 3, 2002 in Phoenix. He was born in August 26, 1917 in Temvik, North Dakota. He worked for the Bureau of Indian Affairs for 34 years and served as a manager in the Titles and Records Section. He was a Scottish Rite Mason for 52 years. He enjoyed reading, also spending his time with his granddaughters and family. He is survived by his wife Ramona Thompson, Phoenix, Arizona, daughter Ann & (Jeff) Schneidman, Paradise Valley, brother Richard Thompson, Jr., Salem, Massachusetts, sisters Arlene Peterson, Flaxton, North Dakota, Marilyn Umber, McIntosh, North Dakota and two granddaughters Nicole and Lindsey Schneidman. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, December 7, 2002 at Green Acres Chapel of Light, 401 N. Hayden Road, Scottsdale, AZ. December 6, 2002 The Arizona Republic.
