Glenn Q.
Glenn Q. Clayton, of Surprise, AZ left us on Christmas Day 2002. He was born in Porterville, CA on May 8th 1926 living most of his life in Arizona.
Glenn was a World War II Veteran, serving with the Marines, he received the purple heart after being wounded at the Battle of Iwo Jima.
Glenn was preceded in death by his daughter Laurie and his friend and ex-wife Bobbie. Leaving behind broken-hearted, his best friend, soulmate and loving wife of 28 years, Dorothy, his two sons, Jim and Steve and their wives, 5 stepchildren: Judy Clark, Debbie Thompson, John Dayton, Tammy Funderburg, Billy Funderburg, and their spouses, 20 grandchildren, as well as 12 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Hazel and Georgie, many nieces and nephews and longtime friends.
Glenn will be remembered as a kind, gentle, loving husband, father and friend to all of us. He will be missed but forever in our hearts. Services will be held in Newhall, CA at Eternal Valley Cemetery on January 4th 2003. Arrangements handled by Camino del Sol Funeral Chapel, Sun City West, AZ 623-584-6299.
