The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, April 2, 2003 John Swantko Jr., 74, formerly of Dearborn, MI., passed away on March 9, 2003 in Mesa, Arizona. John was a well-respected Pharmacist, graduating from Wayne State University. John leaves behind his loving wife Mary Swantko, children, Karen Petrena, Janet Swantko, Jay R. Swantko (Sharen), and Paula Jones, his brother Daniel A. Swantko (Kathryn), and grandchildren; Joseph Petrena, Michael Petrena, Bryan Swantko, Amanda Swantko, Kyle Jones. A memorial service will be held 10:00 AM, April 4, at Resurrection Catholic Church. 3201 S. Evergreen Rd., Tempe, AZ. Family request that all donations be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E.
