HERNANDEZ, Ignacio, Sr.

Ignacio Hernandez, Sr. died Monday, June 2, 2003 in Chandler following a lengthy illness. He was 47. Ignacio was born on October 27, 1955 in Tempe, Arizona. He was a graduate of McClintock High School and worked as a street sweeper for the City of Mesa for 17 years. He is survived by his wife: Lupe (Reyes) Hernandez; 2 Sons: Ignacio Hernandez, Jr. (Rosa), Eric Hernandez; 1 daughter: Natalie Hernandez; father, Jose Hernandez; mother, Carmen Valles Hernandez; 2 brothers: Joe Hernandez, Paul Hernandez; 3 sisters: Trini Valdez, Lidia Bello, Maria Hernandez; and grandchildren: Ciarra Hernandez and Ignacio Hernandez, III. Visitation will be 6 to 8 P.M., Wednesday, June 4, 2003 at The Chapel of Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Drive in Chandler with the Rosary Service at 7 P.M. The Funeral Mass will be 10 AM, Thursday, June 5, 2003 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 230 W. Galveston Street in Chandler. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Mesa.
