JAMES, Bill

Bill James, 85, of Tempe, AZ died June 1, 2003 in Tempe. Mr. James was born September 2, 1917 in Russell, AK.

He moved to Arizona in 1946 from Arkansas. He was married 61 years and worked at Capital Castings in Tempe for 20 years. He also worked in farms around the valley for 28 years.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Laura Jo James-Lee. He is survived by his wife Nellie, daughters Billie McKinney, Sue Ann McGaughey, sons Bobby, Larry, Vern, Deen, Lenard, 19 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 5 sisters.

Visitation will held Wed. June 4, 2003, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Carr Tenney Mortuary. Services will be Thurs., June 5 at 9:00 a.m. at Carr Tenney Mortuary 2621 S. Rural Rd. Tempe. Contributions can be made to Hospice of the Valley 2222 S. Dobson Rd, Mesa, AZ 85202. Arrangements are with Carr Tenney Mortuary.
