JONES, Anna Mae

Anna Mae Jones, 94, born 12/26/1908 went to be with Jesus on June 1,2003. Mae moved to Phoenix from Stratford, OK in 1935.

She retired from Swift's ice cream plant and later from Carnation Can Co. Mae attended Cedar Heights Baptist Church in Sunnyslope, AZ for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Paul Jones, and a son W.T. Jones, and one brother and sister. She is survived by her 3 sons and their wives, Gordon & Ann, Kenneth & Orma, Robert & Armie, and her sisters, Faye Grey, Christine Furgerson, Ruby Mautz, and her brother Edwin Miller. She also has 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Mae requested any remembrances be made to the Tipton Home for Children, PO Box 370, Tipton, OK 73570 in lieu of flowers.

Visitation will be Thursday at A.L. Moore Mortuary, 710 W Bethany Home, from 6-8:00 PM and the funeral services will be held at Mountain View Baptist Church, at 4233 N 40th St, Phoenix, on Friday June 6, 2003, at 11:00 AM.
