MCKNIGHT, David

David McKnight, 80, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away May 31, 2003. David was born on October 27, 1922 in San Leandro, CA.

David was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Marie. They moved to Scottsdale in December of 1959 from Westwood New Jersey. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving in WWII from 1941 to 1947 as Plane Captain with the VP15 and VP13. He also worked for and retired from Motorola.

He is survived by his children Donald McKnight, Fred McKnight and wife Kathy, John McKnight, Jean Manney and husband Bill, Robert McKnight and wife Debby, and Annette McKnight. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. 

Memorial service will be held graveside at Green Acres Cemetery in Scottsdale on June 8, 2003 at 9 am.
