WIATROLIK, Harold


The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Thursday, April 3, 2003 Harold Wiatrolik, born in Kankakee, Illinois, on June 19, 1924, passed away on April 1, 2003. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Frances, his brothers Ted and Jerome and his sister Rita. He was the devoted son of Casmier and Alice. Graduate of Emerson High School in Gary, Indiana in 1941. Employed at E J & E Railroad until December 1942, when he was inducted into the U.S. Army and served as an M.P. until December 1946. Married Frances Tachik on February 1, 1947 in Gary, Indiana. In 1948 he was a route salesman until 1958. In 1958 he started his career as a Realtor. Moved to Wisconsin in 1972 where he worked for Sears until 1975 when he left for Phoenix and its warm climate. Employed by Allan Jeffryes Realty from 1983 until present. Survived by son James, daughter-in-law Carol and granddaughters Trava and Aleena, of Denver, Colorado; daughter Sally Ann Wiatrolik of San Francisco and son Brian Wiatrolik of Phoenix, AZ. He also leaves behind his brother Robert Wiatrolik of Santa Rosa, CA and sister Rosalie Ostrowski of Richmond, VA and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Friday, April 4, 2003, at Whitney & Murphy Arcadia Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd. In celebration of Harold's life, Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M.
