The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona Wednesday, January 6, 2010, page A-7 Christopher Eric Sorenson, 26, passed away on Monday, Dec. 28, [2009]. Chris was an outstanding young man. Chris had just finished his first year of school to become a certified radiology technician. He was about to begin his clinicals and had wanted to go on and get CAT Scan certified. Chris was a brilliant student. Out of 600 students, Chris had been picked twice for special recognition by the director and his teacher. He wanted to work with terminally ill children once he graduated. Chris was recently engaged to his girlfriend of three years, Hannah, and was anxious to get married and start a family. He was an avid member of Radiant Church. He loved God, his family, friends and life. He will be sorely missed and forever deeply loved. Rest now in the arms of our Heavenly Father my sweet boy. Chris is survived by his fiance Hannah Glinski, mother Becky Sorenson, father Greg (Charlotte) Sorenson, brothers Joseph and Aaron Sorenson, sister Holly Sorenson, his special little nephew Ethan Sorenson, and grandmother Anna Mayo. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and many cherished friends. Chris was very close to his cousins Jim, T.J. Lucas and Isaac Flood, his long time friends Nate, Trinia, and Josh. He is preceded in death by his grandfather “Papa” Ronald Mayo, grandfather “Grandpa Al” Eldon Sorenson, and grandmother Joan Sorenson. A visitation was held on Tuesday, Jan. 5, from noon to 1 p.m. followed by a service at Radiant Church, 15522 W. Paradise Lane in Surprise, Ariz.
