Edward A.
Edward A. Trybula Sr., 79, passed away on December 23, 2002 in Mesa, Arizona, where he resided for the last six years. He previously lived in St. Louis, Missouri for 48 years.
He was an active member in The Knights of Columbus where he served as District Deputy, Deputy Grand Knight, and Grand Knight. He served the local community by participating in many organizations including the St. Louis Junior Chamber of Commerce for many years. Ed served the City of Ferguson as a member of the Park Board and Chairman of the Bicentennial Committee. His contributions to the City of Ferguson were so numerous that he was named Citizen of the Year in 1985 and again in 1997. Ed worked at St. John and James Catholic Church as a Lector, Usher, Eucharistic Minister, and in many other capacities.
After his wife's death in 1997, he moved to Mesa, Arizona where he
became active at St. Bridget's Church and The Knights of Columbus in Arizona.
He is survived by his children, Susan and her husband Robert Kleimann, their children David and Kristin, Cynthia and her husband Thomas Lindsley, their children Catherine and Thomas, and his children Brittany and Joseph, Edward Jr. and his wife Marianne, their children, Edward III, Jacqueline, and Robert, Joseph and his wife Susan, their children, Nikki, Todd, Jeremy, Robert, Joseph Jr. and his wife Kristy and great grandson Andrew, John and his children Robert and Samantha.
Mass was celebrated Thursday, December 26, 2002 at St. Bridget's Catholic Church in Mesa, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, P.O. Box 13600, Phoenix, AZ 85002.
