CORONADO, David C.


David C. Coronado, 74, entered into rest on April 21, 2003. David was preceded in death by his loving wife of 30 years, Christine, in 1984. He is survived by his 5 children, Gloria (Rudy) Favela, Sylvia (Juan) Salgado, Catherine Gordoa, Diana Coronado, and Gilbert (Kathleen) Coronado, 14 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren, 4 brothers, Arnold, Ernest, Pete and Richard, and 3 sisters, Antonia Duran, Emilia Salinas, and Lydia Ramirez. David retired from the U.S. Post Office after 35 years. He was an active member and former Commander of the American Legion Post #41. David served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict, during which time he received the Korean Service Medal and the UN Service Medal. David's greatest love was his music, he was a professional musician for most of his life. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 28, 2003 at St. Vincent De Paul. Interment at Greenwood Memory Lawn. Published in the Arizona Republic from 4/26/2003 -
