Donald Baumann, 88, a long time Scottsdale resident passed away on March 11, 2003.
During WWII, he served as a Navy Lt. Aboard the 'USS Tuscaloosa' and the 'USS St. Paul.' After the war, he moved to Phoenix and in the early 1950's settled in Scottsdale. In 1953, he was the City Attorney of Scottsdale and was also appointed as a special assistant to the Attorney General of the US.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Imogene and son's Robert and John.
He is survived by his son's Donald Jr. and James, and his daughter's Maureen Curit and Susan Turner. He leaves thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial Mass will take place at Blessed Sacrament Church 11300 N. 64th St, Scottsdale, Az. on Thursday March 13, 2003 at 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions for Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St. Phoenix, Az., 85014.
