BENTFIELD, Edwin John

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Thursday, March 12, 2003 Erwin J. Bentfield, 92, of Peoria, passed away March 9, 2003. He was born April 12, 1910 in New Munich, Minn. to John and Elizabeth Bentfield. He was a WWII U.S. Air Force veteran. He resided in Arizona since 1964 and was a self employed musician and an accomplished photographer. He was a longtime member of the Elks Lodge. Survivors inlcude his wife Lylah M. Bentfield of Peoria, AZ; three step-children, several nieces and nephews and five step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. with funeral service at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 14, 2003 at Menke Funeral Home Chapel, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, Az.
