WEBBER, Bettie T.


Bettie T. Webber passed away in Mesa, AZ on June 2, 2003 after a prolonged illness. Born in Santa Ana, CA on December 23, 1920. Bettie was very involved in numerous Orange County cultural and charity organizations, including Assistance League, Ebell, Messiah-Church and Pioneer Council. She attended Tustin Elementary, Tustin High, Santa Ana College, Washington State University and UCLA where she met her future husband of sixty years. In her youth she was quite an accomplished horse woman and was chosen as the Orange County Rodeo Queen. She also raised dogs and generally loved animals. She loved to travel with her family when they were young and then traveled extensively with her husband in later years. Her favorite trips were to Hawaii which they visited several times. She is survived by her devoted husband Art and her children Tom (Conchita) Webber, Kathy Webber, Connie Webber and Cliff (Linda) Webber; grandchildren Dennis Hartwick and Nanci Webber; great-grandchildren, Donald, Justin and Delena and her many friends.
