BADYNSKYJ, Joseph

Joseph Badynskyj, 81, was born April 24, 1922 in Nahuyevych, Ukraine and passed away June 3, 2003. He was a gifted cabinetmaker in his chosen profession and derived much pleasure in singing in his church choir. He was a devoted father who always placed welfare of his family above all considerations. He escaped the tyrannies of Germany and the Soviet Union to come to the United States, raise a family, and live the American Dream. He is survived by his close companion Halyna Borkonyuk, son Raymond and daughter Ulana. Visitation will be 6-8pm, Thursday, June 5, 2003 with evening service to start at 7pm at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, 719 N. 27th Ave., Phx. Funeral Service will be 10am, Friday, June 6, 2003 at Memory Lawn Mausoleum Chapel, 719 N. 27th Ave. Published in The Arizona Republic on 6/5/2003.
