Anna Mae Johnson, 51, caring, supportive and lovable mother, nana, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, entered into eternal rest on June 22, 2002 at her home in Phoenix, Arizona.
Anna was born on March 12, 1951 in Taylorville, Illinois, the first-born child to George Phillip Roseberry and Delores Ann Roseberry.
To give their family the best possible future, George and Delores moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1960 where Anna flourished as a great wife and proud mother and nana.
She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Ann Russell and son-in-law, Roy Lawrence Russell, Jr., Grandson, Roy Lawrence Russell, III, and parents George Phillip Roseberry and Delores Ann Roseberry. She is also survived by brother, George Roseberry and wife Darcy Roseberry, sister, Delores Kleinert and husband Karl Kleinert, brother Bill Roseberry, brother Andy Roseberry, lifetime sister-in-law and friend Jeanette Roseberry, and godchild Laurie Teresa Medina. She was a proud and loving aunt to 12 nieces and nephews and a great-aunt to 5 great nieces and nephews.
She was a great inspiration to her family and friends, touching each life in a special way. She worked for the United States Postal Service for several years, changing occupations to the petroleum industry and working for Phillips 66 for the past 8 years. Family, friends, and her fellow employees will miss her dearly.
Mom you will always be in our hearts and forever in our memories. You departed much too soon and we pray that God has you in his hands, giving you the best that you have always deserved. We love you Mom!
Please have any flowers delivered to Paradise Chapel F.H. on Tuesday, June 25, 2002. Viewing June 25, 2002 w/Rosary Svc at Paradise Chapel F.H. 3934 E. Indian School Rd. Funeral Ceremony will be held on Wed, June 26, 2002 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1954 N. 24th St., Phoenix.
