WEISS, Eve

(Maiden Name: Hastman)

Eve Hastman Weiss of Phoenix, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2002. Eve was born November 29, 1907. 

She moved to the Phoenix area from New York 27 years ago with her late  husband Irving Weiss. 

Eve was involved with many charitable organizations. She sewed and  sold entertainment books to raise money for Hacienda, Inc. and the County Hospital. Her main concern was for children. With her husband, they raised funds to build a little league ball field in Mountain Vista Park named in honor of Mr. Weiss. 

Mrs. Weiss is survived by many nieces, nephews, and their children. 

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, June 25th in Green Acres Cemetery, 401 N. Hayden Road in Scottsdale. In lieu of flowers,  donations may be made to Hacienda Inc., 1402 E. South Mountain Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85042 or Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 10377, Phoenix, AZ 85064. Arrangements by Sinai Mortuary.
