ROWE BLACKERBY, Georgia Irene

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Friday, April 4, 2003 Georgia Irene Rowe Blackerby, 85, died Wednesday, April 2, at Banner Hospice in Mesa. Born in Roanoke, VA., Mrs. Blackerby had lived in Chandler since 1970. She is survived by three daughters, Marianne Dutt, Patricia Simpson, and Judy Townsend; five sons, Robert Rowe, Michael Rowe, Bill Rowe, Daniel Rowe, and Lenny Rowe; 37 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by another daughter, Jacqueline Shepherd, who died in 1990. Services will be held at Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Drive, Chandler, at 2 pm Saturday, April 5, with visitation beginning at 1 pm. Burial will be in Roanoke, VA. Contributions in her name may be made to Banner Hospice, 7231 E.
