Flossie Smith, 85, of Litchfield Park Az, passed away peacefully at her home on April 2, 2003. Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania she moved to Tucson with her parents in 1940.
She married Charles R. (Scotty) Smith in 1947, living first on a farm in Eloy and later in Scottsdale, Glendale and settling in Litchfield in 1980. She worked for the Maricopa Water District, retiring after 20 years of outstanding service. She enjoyed golfing, antique collecting, weekends spent at Lake Pleasant, playing the piano, cooking, her family and many friends.
She is survived by her husband, Scotty, daughter and son in law, Vicki and Dick McGaw, of Prescott, Arizona, son Mark Smith, daughter in law, Denise Breitburg, and grandchildren Maya and Eli of Prince Frederick, Maryland.
She will be long remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and enthusiasm for life.

An informal gathering of family and friends to celebrate her life will be held at the family home on Sunday, April 6, 2003 at noon.
