Black's Mortuary, Show Low, Arizona Ambrose Marion Fish, Jr. (November 27, 1937 - January 5, 2010) Ambrose Marion Fish, Jr., 72, of White Mountain Lake, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at his home. He was born November 27, 1937, in Long Beach, CA, the son of Ambrose and Martha (Stratton) Fish, Sr. He graduated from Hart High School in Los Alamedas in 1955. He was married to LaDine Caughey on May 8, 1966 in Las Vegas. He spent most of his work career in the oilfields of California. He lived in Lakeside from 1967 to 1971 and returned to Show Low in 2002. He loved jokes and eating barbeque. He was a member of the Moose and Elks Lodges in Show Low. He had been Junior Governor and Governor of the Moose Lodge in Stockdale, CA. Survivors include a daughter, Geri Sue (John) Fish of White Mountain Lake; three sons, Robbie Robertson of Nevada, Ambrose (Kay) Fish, III of Tracy, CA, Brian (Terri) Fish of Bakersfield, CA; two sisters, Lois (Jim) West of Foley, MO and Wanda (Larry) Paulson of Anaheim, CA; a brother, Milo (Patty) Fish of Dolan Springs; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and sisters Betty, Ola Mae and Bonnie. Visitation will be Sunday, January 10, from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the mortuary. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday, January 11, in the chapel of Black's Mortuary, Show Low, with Rev. Michael Higgs officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeside Cemetery.
