Evergreen Mortuary, Tucson, Arizona ~ October 15th 2009 Dora Helen Gayan passed away Sunday, October 11th at her home. Dora was born December 5, 1927 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Harold and Lenore Cleary. She was raised in Rockland, Michigan before moving to Tucson, Arizona in 1957. Dora worked at a number of restaurants and at K-Mart. She most enjoyed her time of working at the Ghost Ranch Lodge because of its unique history and the friends she had. After retirement Dora also enjoyed donating her time at the Immaculate Heart Cottage. Dora is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, George; one son, James Kelly and wife Terri of Kirksville, Missouri; one daughter, Becky Neagle and husband Joe of Tucson; one brother Jim Cleary and wife Phyllis of Stratford, Wisconsin; four grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents and five brothers: John, Pat, Robert, Dick, and Jerry. Dora enjoyed her family and especially the many grandchildren she always had around her. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, October 16, 2009 at 11:00 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 8650 N. Shannon Rd. Family and friends are invited to gather at the home of Joe and Becky Neagle following the service for a time of remembrance of Dora’s life.
