JOHNSON, Vern M.

Vern M. Johnson passed away June 22, 2002 in Long Beach, CA. He was born May 12, 1928 in Solway, MN. 

A retired Director of Product Integrity with Allied Signal/Honeywell in Phoenix, AZ, Vern played a very important role in ensuring our airline safety as a consultant to the private sector and the government. 

Vern was the son of the late Sigurd and Rina Johnson. Vern is survived by his wife, Nohra Johnson; sons, Dean (Susie) of North Hills, CA., Kurt (Janet) of Falls Church, VA.; and daughters, Lynn Anne Lange of Los Angeles, CA., and MaraBeth Rheaume (Gordon) of Pueblo, CO.; grandchildren: Joshua, Jessica, and Karl Johnson and Victoria Lange; brother, Stanton, Solway, MN.; and numerous Nieces and Nephews. 

Vern also served our Country in the Navy. He will be greatly missed by many family & friends. The family request memorials be made to Alzheimers research. Graveside services 3:00 P.M., Friday. Forest Lawn Mortuary-Long Beach.
