Olivia J. Scott, 85, of Scottsdale AZ, passed away on June 23, 2002. She was born in Phoenix, Az on May 20, 1917, but grew up in Tempe, Az.
She was a loving mother, Nana, great-grandmother, and a blessing to her family. During WWII, she worked at the radio shop at Williams Air Force Base repairing aircraft radios. Her husband, Laird Scott, was a WWII veteran and participated in and survived the D-Day Invasion on June, 1944. She retired from Scottsdale Public Schools as a baker in 1982.
Survivors include her sons: Byron and Bradley, daughter-in-law, Vicki, 3 grandchildren: Allison, Jonathan, and Christopher, and 1 great- grandson, Chance Scott. She is also survived by 2 sisters: Pat Williams and Gert Carter, and a brother, Gil Acedo.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 6-8 PM with a 7:30 Scripture Service at Messinger Indian School Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Rd. Mass on Friday, June 28, 2002 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 3801 N. Miller Rd., Scottsdale, Az.
