Betty Lee Abbott, 70, died Tuesday (June 25, 2002) at a Las Vegas, Nevada hospital. She was born Oct. 26, 1931, in Topeka, Kan.
A retired Motorola factory worker in electronics, she was a member of Women of the Moose Chapter 1127, Eagles Lodge Ladies Auxiliary No. 3850 and American Legion Auxiliary Post 27 and was a five-month resident of Las Vegas.
She is survived by her sons, Dean Sandusky of Ottawa, Kansas, and Terry Sandusky of Angeles City, Philippines; a daughter, Deborah Sandusky-Bjornson of Las Vegas, Nevada; sisters, Kathy Woods of Los Angeles, California and Kay Long of Salt Lake City, Utah; brothers, Fred Kent and John Kent, both of Topeka, Kansas and Bruce Kent of Casper, Wyoming; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be Saturday June 29th, at East Side Baptist Church 235 N. Crismon Rd, in Mesa, Arizona. Affordable Cremation & Burial Service handled the arrangements. The family requests memorial donations are made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, American Heart Association, or the American Cancer Society.
